SiteCalc is a tape measure that does the arithmetic: feet, inches and fractions down to 1/64, mixed freely with metres, centimetres and millimetres, added, subtracted, multiplied and divided in one expression. On top of the tape sit four solvers — right angle/roof, stairs, area and volume, and material estimating — and any job's tape, solver results and material lists can be saved and exported to PDF or CSV.
Type a value in the calculator using feet ('), inches ("), and a fraction with a slash (e.g.
12' 6-3/8"), or switch to metric in Settings and enter metres, centimetres or millimetres
instead. Each result you keep lands as a new line on the current job's tape, where it can be labelled or
corrected at any time — the tape is not a single throwaway answer, it is a running record.
Open a solver from the Solvers tab: Roof works out rise, run, diagonal, pitch (both rise-per-foot and degrees) and rafter/hip/valley lengths from whichever two values you know; Stairs works out riser count, riser height, tread depth, total run and stringer length against the riser and tread limits you set yourself in Settings; Area/Volume covers rooms, walls, slabs, footings, columns, circles and arcs; Materials turns any of that geometry into concrete bags or cubic yards/metres, stud counts at a spacing you choose, drywall sheets, tiles with a waste percentage, paint by a coverage rate you enter, decking and roofing squares. A solver result can be saved straight onto a job's tape from its own screen.
That is deliberate. SiteCalc ships no building-code limit, span table or load table of any kind, because a bundled number would be a stale regulatory value baked into an app with no way to update it when your jurisdiction's code changes. Go to Settings → Stair Limits and enter your own maximum riser height and minimum tread depth; the Stairs solver checks every calculation against exactly those numbers, and against nothing else, until you change them.
Open a job and tap Export, choose PDF, CSV, or both, and share the file through the standard iOS share sheet — to Files, Mail, Messages or any app that accepts a document. Exporting has no limit and requires no purchase; it is free every time, for as long as you use SiteCalc.
The example job SiteCalc can load on first run is always named as a sample. Go to Settings → Remove Sample Job to delete it in one tap; your own jobs are never touched by this.
Settings → Delete All Data permanently removes every job, tape entry and material list on this iPhone after you type DELETE to confirm. This cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
SiteCalc is free, funded by a small banner on the Jobs list, a job's own detail screen, and Settings, and by at most one full-screen ad after an export file has been saved and its share sheet dismissed. No ad ever appears in the calculator, on the tape, or inside any of the four solvers. Settings → Remove Ads turns every ad off permanently with a one-time purchase; it does not unlock any feature, because none of SiteCalc's calculators, solvers, or PDF/CSV export is ever locked. Restore Purchases on the same screen recovers Remove Ads after a reinstall or on a new device signed into the same Apple ID.
