Everything below lives only in this app's private SwiftData store on your iPhone. None of it is sent to us, and SiteCalc has no account, sign-in or server that could receive it.
SiteCalc does not look up, transmit or store anything about a specific address, project or customer: job names are free text you choose for your own record, and stay on the device.
Every job can be exported as a PDF, a CSV, or both, through the system share sheet, free, with no limit and no purchase required, for as long as you use SiteCalc. Settings lets you remove the sample job offered on first run, or permanently delete every job, tape entry and material list on the device by typing DELETE to confirm. Uninstalling SiteCalc removes all of its data. SiteCalc does not exclude its data from iPhone backups, so a backup you make of this iPhone (to iCloud or to a computer) may include SiteCalc's jobs and settings along with everything else on the device; that backup is created and controlled by iOS, not by SiteCalc, and is never something SiteCalc itself sends anywhere.
SiteCalc is free and supported by advertising served through Google's AdMob SDK. A small banner appears only on the Jobs list, a job's own detail screen, and Settings. At most one full-screen ad can appear, and only after an export file has actually been written to disk and its existence confirmed, and only after you have dismissed the share sheet. No ad of any kind appears in the calculator, on the tape itself, in any of the four solvers (right angle/roof, stairs, area/volume, materials), or while you are actively exporting.
To request permission for cross-app tracking, SiteCalc shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, or on any iPhone where Limit Ad Tracking is otherwise in effect, AdMob serves non-personalised ads instead; every calculation, solver, tape, job and export keeps working exactly the same way either way. When tracking is authorised, the AdMob SDK reads the device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and reports ad impressions, clicks and the placement they occurred in to Google, so that future ads can be more relevant. SiteCalc itself does not read the IDFA and never sends a job name, a measurement, a solver result or a material list to Google or to any other third party.
A one-time Remove Ads purchase, processed by Apple through StoreKit, permanently turns off every ad. It does not unlock anything else, because nothing in SiteCalc is locked: every calculator, solver, the tape, material estimating and PDF/CSV export are already free and available without it. SiteCalc receives only the entitlement that the purchase happened; it does not receive or store any payment or billing information, which is handled entirely by Apple.

SiteCalc requests only one permission: App Tracking Transparency, described above. It requests no camera, no photo library, no location and no notification permission, and links no framework for any of them.
SiteCalc ships no building-code limit, span table, load table or ampacity chart of any kind. The stair riser and tread limits it checks against are numbers you type in yourself in Settings; until you enter them, no check is applied. Nothing about your local code, jurisdiction or project is inferred, stored, or sent anywhere. SiteCalc also has no currency field and computes no cost, quote or invoice of any kind.
SiteCalc is a general-purpose construction-math tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and SiteCalc itself collects no personal information on any server in any case.
If what SiteCalc collects or does changes, this page and the "Last updated" date above will be updated before that version is made available.
